Micro bakery Violet is the brainchild of Claire Ptak, evolved from a stall on Broadway Market. It focuses on organic and low intervention ingredients – the fare is hard-hitting, but wholesome. With a small menu of brunch classics alongside their baked goods, Violet covers all bases from breakfast to afternoon tea. Top tip: “For me, the daily quiche followed by any one of the cakes is my highway to a quintessentially English day,” says Nuff co-founder Will.
