Absolutely worth the journey despite being a bit of a trek, The Palm Tree is an old school boozer in the Cockney heartland. The live music selection from Thursday to Sunday isn’t to be missed, with mainly jazz playing in this unpretentious, authentic, humble, beauty of a pub. Top tip: cash only. We repeat: cash only.
