Silo's wonderfully righteous offering shows the brains and brawn that goes in to such an operation. The menu is veggie-focused but does not exclude meat or seafood. The world's first zero-waste restaurant. The world's first. I don't know about you but when I hear zero-waste, it's a bit of an insurmountable mountain. A charity mountain trek that you signed up to, didn't train for and then drank the night before (yes that's happened to me, twice) but that you simply have to finish. You have to achieve it. Top tip: sitting directly above Crate Brewery means you've got pre / post dinner drinks sorted right by Hackney Wick canal.
