Rasputin’s is the right sort of filthy little dive bar for Hackney, all sultry red light, cult films on the TVs and mid-century sofas for the committed. We sat there with a £7 5 olive martini, which is absurdly good value, and eyed the £3 mystery shots and the recession special, a draft beer and two hot dogs for £11. It feels like Sex and the City directed by Tarantino, which is somehow exactly right. Top tip: start here, then let the night go as badly as it wants.
