Mountain is the place to eat in Soho right now. A humongous open kitchen allows you to watch the culinary wizardry in action. Their brand of magic is open-fire cooked, Basque-inspired food, with Welsh-sourced produce sprinkled on top wherever possible. The spider-crab omelette, langoustines (order multiple) and smoked potatoes are what this place is famous for. You’ll understand why when you chow down. To paraphrase Miss Minogue, it will be love, at first bite. Top tip: Mountain is one of the most happening places in town right now, book early, maybe even book twice, because you’ll definitely want to go back.
