Georgian cuisine was one of those unknowns to me, but once discovered, a veritable gold mine. Always found a new cuisine to explore that has homey feels to it the perfect way to cure a hangover. It's the perfect to take the family or for a casual setting tasting flavours you might not have had before. Get khacapuri (stuffed cheese bread) and khinkali for sure (pork and beef dumplings). Top tip: it's BYOB! If you can get yourself to one of Hackney's numerous bottle shops beforehand, do this right and get a bottle from the birthplace of wine... Georgia!
