One of London's few authentic Burmese restaurants (I don't actually know of any others, but seen as I haven't fact-checked if there are, and London is massive, I've said there's a few, if they exist, Lahpet is probably better). Burmese food is its own delight to explore, but has been enriched by the more famous cuisine's of its geographical neighbours India, China and Thailand. Lahpet offers a melting pot of food you'll semi-recognise but will deliver more than what you expect. I can't recommend it enough for a bit of a change. Top tip: some good Asian-inspired twists on classic cocktails are better than the wine list and mostly Western beers on offer.
