Different places are right for different reasons. Il Bordello qualifies. A family-ran Italian, and the portion sizes reflect that. Il Bordello was King of Jack and Rob's time living in Wapping and they dragged me there kicking and screaming. Quite simply they won the battle. Il Bordello reigns. What a restaurant should do, should be, with none of the fuss. Top tip: if you're with your parents, go to the Captain Kidd or Town of Ramsgate after. If you fancy ten pints and karaoke then go to Turners Old Star.
