With an American diner setting and bright neon lights you'd be forgiven for thinking that Facing Heaven is style over substance, until you eat, that is. For those unacquainted, Sichuan food is usually hot, heavy on the chillies kind of hot. Expect vegan takes on classic (and traditionally meaty) Chinese dishes alongside inventive vegan options. We say: get a bit of everything, try it all. Top tip: it’s more of a disclaimer than a tip from co-founder Will: “My girlfriend likes spicy food but would read this and then panic there's a secret sect of people who can handle spicier food than her. Don't be like my girlfriend.”
