Bubala

An exceptionally cosy setting serving exceptionally good veggie food. Some cuisines just do veggie right, and Middle Eastern is certainly one of them. Bubala's set menu - Bubala Knows Best (available veggie or vegan) is always my go to, at £39 per head it's a very affordable way of seeing the best Bubala has to offer. Top tip: the cocktails are not to be sniffed at but neither is the Gazoz - home-made non-alcoholic fruit syrups with soda derived from the Turkish word for gas, perfect as a palette cleanser or for one of those detox days with no booze.
