There are lots of cocktail bars out there, but then there are cocktails bars out there that inspire such false pretenders to espouse such a title. This is one of those. With staff that wear matching boiler suits, co-founder Will – who’s more at home with a pint of bitter in a country pub – wasn’t convinced: “but then you start trying the cocktails, and you don’t stop trying them until the doors are closed in your not quite as classy as you thought you were, William rosy-red cheeks.” In other words, it’s the perfect spot for impressing the person you’re out with. Top tip: regularly operating a one-in-one-out policy on the door due to the popularity of this small-capacity bar, we say: get there early, stay till late.
